Serveo Industria has been DATA4's strategic partner since its establishment in Spain. The partnership began in 2020 with the commissioning phase of the MAD1 data centre in Alcobendas. Since January 2021, Serveo has been providing comprehensive operation and maintenance, cleaning and waste management services in a complete facilities management model to ensure the efficiency and availability of the centre.
Serveo Industria's service approach is based on a culture of safety, continuous training of a team specialising in data centres, Lean methodology in operations and energy efficiency. A multidisciplinary team of 40 people focuses on ensuring the continuity and reliability of the facilities, and that all operations are carried out to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
At DATA4's MAD1 Campus, Serveo carries out critical interventions on electrical, air conditioning, fire protection and security systems. By use of a computer-assisted maintenance management system (CMMS), all predictive, preventive, conductive and corrective maintenance work is recorded and planned, ensuring total control of the systems.
In addition, Serveo was involved in the commissioning phase, where it performed audits and shared its expertise in critical systems. It currently monitors the facilities via a Building Management System (BMS) to optimise energy efficiency and improve the data centre's overall performance.
