Founded in 2011, the company was created under the name FerroNATS, combining international expertise in airport management with the leadership and know-how in air-traffic control of the British provider NATS. In 2018 FerroNATS launched the Skyway ATM Training Academy, a new initial-training school for air-traffic controllers with an international outlook, committed to excellence and the quality of its students. In 2023 we brought together our experience, safety, service quality and efficiency as an ATS provider and our excellence as an initial-training school under a single name: Skyway.
Where we are.
We are currently the air-traffic-control service provider at six Spanish airports — Alicante-Elche, Ibiza, Valencia, Murcia, Sabadell and Lleida-Alguaire —; we provide the apron-management service at Madrid-Barajas Airport; and we deliver AFIS and CNS-facilities maintenance services at Córdoba, Andorra–La Seu d’Urgell and Lleida-Alguaire airports.
At our academy we have trained air-traffic controllers in all ratings (aerodrome, approach and en-route) in line with the sector’s highest standards.
